Idaho. Craters of the Moon, 1933
Craters of the Moon National Monument and Preserve is located in the Snake River Plain in central Idaho. It became a National Monument on May 2, 1924. In 2000, a presidential proclamation expanded the Monument area, and in 2002, it was designated a National Preserve. It encompasses three major lava fields. 16mm film shot by D.J.
