The purpose of Change U is to further strengthen social justice movements on and off campus by fostering cross-issue, intergenerational, and diverse partnerships between the GVSU community and social justice efforts throughout the area. Change U will look at how issues such as racial and economic justice intersect with issues such as gender and disabilities justice. Participants will learn concrete skills and strategies they can use as they pursue their passion to change the world. The application process is open to the public. Students wishing to participate in this training for course credit may submit an application to enroll in University Studies 380: 04 "Socia l Justice Engagement" for Winter semester 2012.
