Shelves and filing cabinets w ill faci litate decluttering the m usic room and reception station, a ll owing for more interactive learning. Family Futures wi ll use the fu nds to benefit the You t h Leaders Agains t Vio lence (YLAV) program by purchasing leadership boo ks and materia ls. Teen parti cipants a re supported in developing tools, re sources and leadership skills. The Red Project serves the community by ensuring that ma rgi na li zed peo ple have access to the too ls, informatio n, resources, and support to Live hea lthy and safe lives. Participants examine how iss ues such as reproductive health, education, viole nee, political representation, and Apartheid have intersected to impact the role of women within various societal and class structures.
