Description

Black and white photograph of the Vietnam War Moratorium event held in Chicago, Illinois. The "Moratorium to End the War in Vietnam" was a large scale demonstration and teach-in across the United States intended to support the cessation of the war and thousands of people gathered in the Civic Center Plaza to protest the war on that day. In the photograph, a crowd of people are gathered on the plaza while holding signs including a large banner that reads, "Stop Vietnam Now!" and others representing the groups in attendance including the National Council of Jewish Women and Loyola Social Workers.
