King Henry IV, Part 1 (theater production), 2003
Color photograph of Grand Valley's 2003 production of "King Henry IV, Part 1." In this image, showing the full stage, fourteen actors pose together. In the center, a man carries a woman as the kiss. Framing them to the left and the right are two female figures wearing skin colored masks which give them a strange, doll-like look. In the front a man lies in the lap of a woman, who raises her hand with an ethereal gesture, and a young man holds a masked figure close. In the back two older men stand with satisfied looks, also accompanied by masked figures. Two soldiers stand in each scaffold tower. From each tower hangs a banner: one a Welsh dragon, the other a map of Britain titled "A Kingdom Divided." Under the walkway bridging the two towers hangs a blue checkered curtain.
