Lewis, known as the "Old Headington House," located at 14 Holyoake Road and Lewis's residence between 1923 and 1929 with his longtime companion, Janie King-Moore, before buying his beloved home known as The Kilns. In the photograph, a business plaque is posted at the entryway which reads, "Doctor Raymond Broome, Chiropractor," as it was the location where Doctor Raymond Broome began his Oxford Chiropractic Clinic practice in the mid-nineteen-sixties.
