Black and white photograph of Warren Hamilton Lewis, the Irish historian and British Army officer best known as the elder brother of writer and professor C.S. Lewis and one of the founding members of the Inklings literary society. In the photograph, W.H. Lewis is seated in the library of his brother's home known as The Kilns, located at Headington near Oxford where he retired and took up residence until the death of his brother in 1963.
