Black and white photograph of snow-covered farmland in the countryside near Wheaton, Illinois, as shot by photographer, Douglas Gilbert, as a part of his master's thesis in photography. Gilbert graduated with an M.S. in photography from the Institute of Design at the Illinois Institute of Technology in 1972 before becoming an Assistant Professor of Art at Wheaton College from 1972-1982 in Wheaton, Illinois.
