Distortions and internal conflicts and challenges that disrupt my sense of belonging. A fractured identity struggling to connect the pieces to the larger puzzle. Rejection, judgment, exclusion not only from others but especially myself. A sense of sadness, disconnection. The process of working together in photovoice with welcoming people around me allowed me to dig deeper into self-reflection and my spirituality. I wish we had more spaces like this in our GVSU community.
