Black and white photograph of the Vietnam War Moratorium event held in Chicago, Illinois. The "Moratorium to End the War in Vietnam" was a large scale demonstration and teach-in across the United States intended to support the cessation of the war and thousands of people gathered in the Civic Center Plaza to protest the war on that day. In the photograph, a crowd of people are gathered around the plaza's "Chicago Picasso" sculpture while holding up "peace sign" hand gestures as they protest for a peaceful ending to the war.
