Black and white photograph of the Vietnam Peace Parade anti-war demonstration that took place in New York City. On this day in April of 1969, the Fifth Avenue Peace Parade committee organized the demonstration that assembled near Bryant Park with a rally that took place near the Central Park Bandshell and 5th Avenue. In the photograph, crowds of people are walking down a New York City street holding signs that read, "Veterans for [Peace]" and "Support Anti-War G.I.'s" in protest against the Vietnam War.
