Color photograph of Grand Valley's 2002 production of "The Merchant of Venice." In this image a masked ball has been disturbed by a man with a dagger. The man, wearing a golden mask with a large beak, raises his dagger at a woman while clutching a written document in the other hand. On the right a man, also wearing a beaked mask, keels and raises his hands together as if begging him to stop. The rest of the ball attendees recoil in horror or lean forward in curiosity. The set behind them is draped with semi-sheer fabric.
