Color photograph of Grand Valley's 2002 production of "The Merchant of Venice." In this image multiple cast members perform on stage. In the center two children bow and curtsy to one another, and the adults behind them supervise the interaction. On the left, a boy and a man, both dressed as Jews with kippahs and yellow badges on their shirts. On the right, a girl and two women, one with a basket over her arm. The ensemble cast in the background are staged performing various interactions in the street. The set is designed with a staircase and multiple balconies and made to look like carved stone. All the actors wear renaissance style costumes.
