In the center two children bow and curtsy to one another, and the adults behind them supervise the interaction. On the left, a boy and a man, both dressed as Jews with kippahs and yellow badges on their shirts. On the right, a girl and two women, one with a basket over her arm. The ensemble cast in the background are staged performing various interactions in the street. The set is designed with a staircase and multiple balconies and made to look like carved stone. All the actors wear renaissance style costumes.
