Site analysis map created as part of the campus planning of Grand Valley State College as seen in the publication, "Grand Valley State College: A Guide to Future Physical Development," circa 1961. The map, labeled as Figure 5 of the publication, features a site analysis of the landscape located west of the Grand River and south of State Highway M-50 (later designated M-45), including the topographic barrier created by the ravines and the plateau areas for potential campus building groupings along the edges of the ravines.
