Gallagher Dock, the fish tug La Fond and Angus laying stern to stern. In the the best times the Gallagher dock shipped more whitefish than any other fishery in the country. They also cut ice from Beaver Harbor and supplied Beaver Island with ice for ice boxes and fish shipping. Incidentally, 60 years later I bought Angus and have built a new dock on this same piece of property where this picture was taken. So Angus is right back where she was 63 years ago.
